For the curius, hnl_dk said something similar too; in english please.

Some Swedes understand Danish perfectly. And Norwegian too as a matter of fact.

And I quote Ernst Hugo Järegård: "Danskjävlar!"

In a humorous sense that is :-)

Oops! I should've read the ENTIRE thread before posting...
*Zap! Zap!* Ha! Take that! *Kabooom!* Hey, that\'s not fair!

Yup. I speak wedish ( duh! ) and danish and somewhat understand norwegian ( it's easier to read than hear ). Got to learn finnish and icelandic ( ? ) ( or norse or whatever it's called in english )

Jo, jag tycker också att hjortronen är ovanligt lila i år. Det måste bero på att brassarna vann VM. Det kan IOFS också bero på att älgjakten inte böjat än... Vad tror du?

AFAIK there is a 4th language in Switzerland (apart from german, french, italian)
called räteromanisch (or so). That would be nice I'll say  ;-)
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else

You mean apart from turkish, polish, russian and a few others  :-P

O.k. if you really mean "official", there is a tiny minority in the far
eastern corner of Germany called "Sorben". Their language is something
like russian or czech (don't hit me if I'm wrong) and all streets are name
in german and sorbisch.

AFAIK the same goes with the danish minority in the north, but both
languages are not official to the point where they would be used in
local schools or so.

No, no schwytzerdutch spoken here, garman is hard enough! And about reto-romanish all i can say is "Alegra"! (hello) :-P

mais je peux parler français si vous voulez sa sera plus facile pour tout le monde, oder? ;-)
