Cloud Amiga, I can dream!

What about a Cloud-O-Matic Amiga Virtual-Machina-ma-jig. A lot of work to build, but this would be the penultimate Amiga computer.

Apart from coding/programming what obstacles would need to be overcome?

What price would you pay for access? (If it was commercial job)

How hard would it be to modify AROS/UAE to run as a virtual machine and access it over a network?

Let me know.

Interesting first post.

Welcome to A.Org. :D

Cloud computing for the Amiga eh? Hmmm... You need to flesh out the idea a bit for us to get a better idea of how you expect it to work.

Would be quite easy under Linux with X and sandboxes or under Windows with Citrix and app isolation. You could also do it with Amithlon running on a VM. (Hosting virtual guest OSes running UAE would be overkill and harder to manage, IMHO, but I'm sure others will disagree.) In any case, you would have to license Amiga OS for such use.

Once you have it, what would you do with it?

So why would this be the next to last Amiga?
