A4000/030 slower than A1200 with Blizzard 1230 ?

The problem with the Blizzard 4030 is the memory isn't fitted on the Blizzard card. The memory on the mother board is always slower.


Most other accelerator cards for A4000 has memory slots on it, that will make the accelerator card on the A4000 faster.

Yeah, that is the same problem with the 3640 (stock 040) card.  That motherboard RAM is a performance killer.  It's completely expected that any processor card with RAM onboard will crush one that uses motherboard RAM.

Hence the 1230 being faster than the 4030
