Indivision ECS?  Yes please.   Having an A600 with 4MB of Fast, 2MB of chip, CF harddrive and NIC PLUS a built in flickerfixer would just be cool.

Next question though - how fast (or slow) are the screen updates on the AGA model if I run it at a screendepth of 1024x768 or 1280x1024?  I mean, is it still usable or ?

Comparable to "PAL:SuperHiRes-Laced" ... not very fast, but "it can be done".

How many colors are in the 1024x768 mode?
How many colors are in the 1280x720 mode?

The Indivision .pdf does not say.
The Aminet readme of HIGHGFX does not say.

Both will run at 256 colors (including I suspect the new 1280x1024 extreme mode) BUT performance will suffer.  I found that with an 030 1200, 64 colors was the most I could run at using 1024x768 with good performance.
Life begins at 100 MIPS!

Nice Ports on AmiNet!

Not for me. It doesn't correctly fit when you have a Lisa made by HP. If I am correct the HP Lisa is slightly (about 0.5 mm) lower compared to the CBM one, making the connection to the Indivision 1200 unreliable at best.

I tried it with two A1200s and the Indivision will not stay on with both of them. It simply fell of the chip, even after applying much pressure (and I mean MUCH pressure). Back to the Scanmagic it was, which luckily fits great and still functions reliably...

Plans are to replace the motherboard with one with the correct (CBM produced) Lisa and hope it will improve the matter.
Life sucks. Then you die. Then they throw mud in your face. Then you get eaten by worms. Be happy it happens in that order... My Amiga 1200

Indivision AGA 1200 is in stock - if it appears to be sold out, then it's a single reseller who didn't order yet. I have no pending backorders, and I'm pretty sure that my stock won't be sold out too soon.

You are correct about the lower height of the HP Lisa chips, but you are not correct about Indivision AGA 1200 in general not fitting properly. This is only true for the very first production run. Starting from the second production run, the sockets have been modded in order to also hold properly on HP Lisa chips, and it's the third production run in the shops at the moment.

If you have trouble with your Indivision AGA, there's a 2-year warranty on it - this includes your mechanical problems. Please refer to your reseller, he'll handle all warranty issues.

like all other aga-screenmodes
"24 bit" = 16 mio. ( ham8-mode = dpaint, multiview, ... )
8 bit = 256 col. ( workbench )

Jens, do you (or anyone else) have a list of timing modes that the A4000 would output via this Scan doubler ? (Pal machine)

I am trying to see how my LCD Monitor would react to it, Since it only likes NTSC from my Minimig.

Under PAL Minimig, it freaks out and complains about the sync.

Samsung 943BWX

It supports up to 1440x900 but they wouldn't be compatible so I didnt include them
A4000D - CSMKII//128MB/IDE CF/Indivision Scandoubler
A1200
A1000

(And now a Minimig) :>)
