FS: SAM440 System
« on: February 04, 2009, 12:28:26 AM »
With the release of OS4 for the peg I've decided to sell my Sam, its only had about 20 hours use since new and is a complete system with 250 gig sata disc and dvd/cdrw slot loading drive. It is built in a Noah Mini-ITX Case (picture - http://www2.multithread.co.uk/mtcshop/images/linitx.com/products/Noah_Mini-ITX_Case_main.jpg)

All components were new when I built this system in November.

Also included is OS4.1 for this system.

Offers??

I've got twelve quid that aren't doing anything...

I'm looking to recoup most of what I spent on this system, as there is still a waiting list for the boards and the system is virtually brand new, I don't think that's to unreasonable.

I spent about £800 building it up. I would also be willing to sell just the board and OS4 on their own.

Oh man, don't make me feel depressed... I am to get some new Amiga system but as a third system in my house (and fourth OS), I would really have to search for quite unorthodox ways of convincing my wife to it...

Truth hurts :(
Was: Mac Mini PPC running MorphOS 2.4
Now: Amiga Forever 2010 with AmiKit and AmigaSYS
Not used: Icaros Desktop 1.2 (reason: no wifi)
Planned soon: an OS4 system
Shortly then: a MOS notebook (wifi is a must-have)

Oh for those long gone innocent days when I had 3 systems!!

My financial situation means I've got to shift lots of gear so watch this space. Though most of my equipment is not amiga related, a garage full of SGI and Sun equipment needs a drastic cull as my kit car (see avatar) is out in the cold at the moment.

As for my wife she is very understanding, well the second one is, first one no so much.
