EIAJ-E8M connector on Sears LXi tv/montor
« on: December 27, 2008, 04:58:58 PM »
Here's the situation;picked up  $10 classic CRT monitor /tv with excellent analog broadcast reception and picture  at Goodwill thrift store.Set has rca composite video PLUS an 8 pin rectangular jack that I think is the EIAJ .Set has switchable inputs and greenscreen button.Must have been expensive when new.Set is a Sears LXi model  564-40840452 .

Question :does anyone know how many colors this should display from Amiga and how to hook it up?I could use A520 with composite jack but was thinking(hoping) RGB connector would show better display?Where do I find 23 pin Amiga  to EIAJ 8 pin rectanular cable? Is it possible to make one?

Found a cable on 'net for C64/128 but not Amiga. So it can at least be used for some of my classics (and with a digital convertal box for SDTV).

Since you already found the cable for the C64, what about make an adaptor C64 to Amiga RGB?

Do you still have this Sears TV?  If you do, would you be interested in selling it?  If so, please contact me back with price and shipping.  Thanks.  live in Florida (zip 33548)
