New user here too. I had brief access to 500 back in 90-s, but never had one myself. Brought 1200 last year from amigakit and 500+ from ebay. I am mostly interested in low level coding, and I've had great time learning how to use and program these systems.

@ AmigaKit:

I have been searching and looking for a while now to buy the shogo game for my sam440ep, the full version, as I like the demo version.

Would you guys have any in store by chance, lying around in the warehouse? (Im really asking for luck here)

OR

Do you know where or what other store may have it for sale.

I checked out vesalia, but they seem to have it displayed on their site, but it is in red, hence, sold out, so I am wondering why they havent removed it yet for all this time?? Maybe they are recieving emails from others wanting some FPS that will play on os4.1 also??

I dont really know, I only know I ant it, and prefer it over heretic 2 at the moment.

But, I have already jotted down some items I may buy in near future from your store, so it would be handy if I could get more than one item in one hit.

Cheers.

Very interesting replies - thanks everyone!

I take my words back - the Amiga still has plenty of attraction for new users: especially for fans of classic games, and computer tinkers who love to get close to the hardware.

I'm in the low-level-tinkerer category myself.  I had both the A500 and A1200.  I learned C on the 500 (some effort with no HDD), but by the time I got the 1200 I was distracted by new interests (motorcycles :-) ), so I never really used it.  Now I'm making up for lost time and looking forward to choosing a modern, FPGA based desendent.
