 Hmm... Let's see...

Finish the RGB to video component inside an A520 design...

Finish the A600 020 accelerator design...

Re-make my A1200 tower properly this time. Mediator and lots of things waiting (not enough room on a desktop Amiga).

 Fix the A2000 SCSI controller.

Buy a pair of nice scandoublers... :-)

Complete my collection with 1 A3000 ( a 3000T will be more than nice) and an A4000...

Oh, and time to play with those beautiful machines. ;-)
Goodbye people.

I\'ll pop on from time to time, RL is acting up.

Buster 11 and 8 megs of ZIP ram more for the A3000D, and to finally locate a 23/15 pin cable for the Firecracker24!

Any Z3/Z2/Fastslot card that will allow me to have SCSI and some extra RAM on the A4000D without destroying my meager $$ resources.

A bunch of animation projects that are on the drawing board, and the will and time to get them done!
Amiga 3000D UP and running! Hear that clicking. 8)
Amiga 3000D & 4000D in storage sadly.

Sell my classic Amiga gear :-x

Wait until MorphOS is released on Mac mini. In the mean time I gues I'll play with emulators.

Lots to do:

1) when money permits.... get my sick 4000D fixed.

2) Currently.... upgrade CD-ROM + CDR drives + bigger Flyer drives in my 4000T + put in CD Audio cables, install 0S3.9 at some point.. semi-Amiga-related, put in audio mixer, another video switcher..

3) Get an accel. for my dad's 1200, if by some strange twist of Fate, I can find one cheap, and/or a bigger SIMM for the GVP accel. in his other 1200...

4) Get a SCSI Zip drive for my 1200T, my only SCSI-equipped miggy without a Zip drive, wouldn't want it to feel left out

Replace the motherboard of my A1200 is highest on my list, althought that won't happen until somewhere in 2009. The current one works ok, but the Indivision flickerfixer doesn't fit (keeps falling off, literally). I also plan to replace the internal 2.5" harddisk with a 4 GB flashdrive.

My A2000 needs a VGA-switch, so I can easily switch between the output of the A2320 flickerfixer and the CV64/3D. After that, I can reinstall it.

My A3000 needs a new harddrive (I have one laying around, just need to put it in), after which I can put back the OS (3.1 or 3.9, haven't made up my mind yet).
Life sucks. Then you die. Then they throw mud in your face. Then you get eaten by worms. Be happy it happens in that order... My Amiga 1200

On the programming side, I have to fix the port of mencoder (some crashes to fix, add an Altivec version), then I'll finish the port of DjVuLibre, after that I'll pick the next project in my long to-do list :)

No hardware changes ATM, although I'll consider buying an USB2 PCI card when OS4.1 will support them.

A500
1. swap halfmeg agnus for 1meg agnus.
2. do 1meg chipram cut and jumper upgrade.
3. install ECS denise, (may need 2Meg agnus upgrade).
4. permanent rom socket mod to take 3.1 rom.
5. get clock port cable extension, mount subway USB ports on the righthand side of case
otherwise, pretty much done, but if it happens, and i'm needed, help metalguy66 develop that ethernet card for A500 GVP sidecars. my ideas for developing a zorro2 riser for the GVP expansion slot are shelved for the time being due to lack of soldering skills, and money to buy tools.

A1200 #1
1. swap the 040 for an 060 on the PPC board. just need to by the tools for the job, and take the time to grind my soldering skill to the right level before i have a go.
2. get some low profile 128Mb simms, as a full fat HP simm won't fit flat under the keyboard in the desktop machine on the BlizPPC. well it does, but i'm not happy about the way it fits.
3. sort out the mounting for the slotloadDVD in the wedge case, and cut the disc slot and eject button in the back of the case.
4. replace the nanoATX PSU as it seems i've knackered my current one and it doesn't provide a reliable -12volt pull down, and re-route all the power lines to be inside the case
5. re-size the hole i put in the back right side corner from a USB port from the subway to take a VGA port from the bVision
6. finally put the lid on properly.
7. may replace wired ethernet with wifi card

A1200 #2
1. swap the bliz030 for the bliz040scsi royalmail have gone and lost for me :madashell:
2. buy another 060 chip
3. swap the 040 for an 060. another low-profile 128Mb simm to go in the socket on board, as the scsi module can take the fat HP simms just fine.
4. speed test the elbox fastata card with the new cpu, but will probably remove it.
5. may replace wired ethernet with wifi card

A1200 #3
1. take the now homeless blizz030scsi and install that in this machine fit low-profile 128Mb simm to board, and 128Mb simm to scsi module.
2. keep an eye out for bliz040/060 card to upgrade to
3. may replace wired ethernet with wifi card

A600
1. 1Meg chip ram upgrade
2. accelerator/memory?
3. clock port?
4. subway?
5. may replace wired ethernet with wifi card
6. replace faulty floppy drive

CD32
1. SX32/pro at a reasonable price?

A4000
1. fix mainboard battery damage
2. replace mainboard simm sockets
3. get denebUSB2 card
4. get cyberstorm2/3-040/060 card
5. get GFX card of some type. preferably CV64/3D
5. mediator A4000Di? maybe?
6. may fix up to be livingroom gaming machine in the AV rack.

......
so a lot to do, and not a lot of cash as my car has had:-
new sills, new floorpans, new front axel/suspension, new rear suspension, new rear tyres
and i'm currently weighing up engine options.

plus i have to wire up the house with cat6, figure out my IPTV media server stratagy, convert the loft, put in another set of stairs, kill the lichking, and slowly get proficient at programming C and 68k assembler

A500, A600, A1200x3, A2000, A3000, A4000 & a CD32.
and probably just like the rest of you, crates full of related "treasure" for the above XD

1) Getting a mac mini for the (hopeful) MorphOS release.

2) Keep an eye and evaluate these further "roads" :

           - new hardware for OS4.x
           - (hardly) possible OS4.x mac mini support
           - Anubis
           - AROS
           - Natami

3) Usual, standard, traditional, amiga waiting...

Awesome thread.

Stop purchasing misc hardware. Have darn near everything I need/want. This hobby has been addictively expensive over the last 20 years...  My final score was optaining a PicassoIV for the A3000D.

On with the list:

A1000 - Install Rom adaptor and 1.3 rom. Make sure the ram expansion works. Set up as a floppy based game machine next to the PS1 & PS2 in the living room.

A3000T - Fix the green screen problem, or part out. Looks more like part out as the VT/Flyer has taken its place.

A3000D - Get the WarpEngine scsi fuctioning. Install the AD516 sound card. Aquire an external scsi box for audio drives.

A4000 VT/Flyer - Install more software. Remove TBCIV. Use the beast.

A2000 - Finish setting up as a signal generator. Install TBCIV, Vectorscope, blackburst generator. Larger HD.

A1200 - 3.1 Roms. Maybe an IndivisionFF.

A500 - Reassemble and make functional. Was used to scavange parts many years ago.

Misc leftover equipment - gather up, dust off and post for auction. Need to thin out a load of stuff.

I recently aquired an Epson9600 44" inkjet printer for my HP Athlon. Focusing on reproducing my photos and pimping out the divice for profit.

1) Perhaps get a CyberSCSI mk2 module, since the motherboard IDE connector is perhaps the #1 bottleneck on my system.

2) Tinker some more with porting Uplink to Amiga. One of my favourite games. It's realistic because it uses many 3rd party libraries that are already ported to AmigaOS. But it's slow going, and perhaps I'll never finish it. And even if I did it wouldn't really be useful, since the license on the source code prohibits porting it to other platforms. Oh well. Still fun to tinker with.
Theology is just a debate over who to frame for creating reality.

Solder in a socket so I can install a 68882 FPU & its oscillator in my A1200 accelerator card. Looking forward to performing this upgrade - thanks goes to Damion for securing the parts!
