Sorry I dont get it. Is AROS and MorphOS bad things?

Do you know that they are in some ways connected to Amiga?

Why would someone interested in Amiga not be interested in news/discussions regarding those subjects?

Exactly I don't see the prob, It's all Amiga related :-)

As for the other best Amiga website I'd say Amibay :-D as it's a superb way to buy/sell and swap.

How did such a great company become such a blight on the Amiga community?

:-(  A good proportion of that was rumor and lies repeated on message forums until they morphed into "common knowledge."  That's part of why I post so seldom these days.

I vote for AmigaWorld.net too. It is more Amiga oriented than Amiga.org since many years, while Amiga.org is more diversed with AROS, Linux, MorphOS and even Windows crap. Amigaworld.net is oriented in AmigaOS 4 much more and there you can find really informative topics, unlike on Amiga.org where it is slammed and trashed by people who did not touch anything Amiga since years. That's why these days AmigaWorld.net is more preferred domain for me and seems not only me.

I don't see it as a matter of whether the other systems are bad or not. Think of it this way: MorphOS has a dedicated forum; AROS has a dedicated forum; so why can't Amiga OS 4.x have a dedicated forum too?

amigaworld.net used to be one. At first it was derided and "boycotted"* outside of the OS4 community, then when it turned out to be really popular, people tried (successfully) to make it more inclusive. So then amigans.net was started, which appears to now be in phase 1 of the same cycle...

*Was pretty funny seeing people with no interest in OS4 claiming to boycott a site that wasn't trying to cater for them anyway...

Umm.. Finnish Amiga Users Group forum is my most used forum, they have all amiga flavours there too :) Only in finnish.

I've never liked forums divided too much into different sub platforms. That's why I like amiga.org, I want to know what happens on all amiga systems, not just on the ones I own. But PC and non-amiga stuff is out of my interest and can be freely ditched :) It would be so much easier and more fun that we wouldn't have morphzone or amigaworld as separate... if we'd only have one perfect place :P
Daily MorphOS user and Amiga active.

There are other sites :-?

Just kidding. While amiga.org is hands down my favorite, just about any website devoted to the Amiga has it's place.

Outside of this one, I would have to say www.classicamiga.com. Can't say I'm a big fan of the new CMS system that the site has, but I know there has been lots of stuff added over the last year or two, whereas it was a bit neglected before. It is due to the not-quite-as-good-as-it-could-be CMS that makes me not want to look for stuff on there normally. The forum always has plenty of helpful people on it and is a good place to get answers to questions.

Besides Classicamiga, I also like Greg Donner's Workbench Nostalgia pages (www.gregdonner.org)

Can I also vote for my own website, www.stevecoates.net ? There is hardly anything on it at the moment, but I do intend to put some of my own amiga related content on it eventually.
