Atheist Amiga
« on: November 09, 2008, 10:54:05 AM »
This morning I fired up an A1200D which I got for free. This is what it informed me:

This machine appears to be making a theological statement! Alternatively the previous user created a partition called God, and turned the computer off while it was writing... ;-)

Brilliant, 2000 years of debate and it's come to this...

I suppose now you'll have to re-format God?

Make sure you choose a suitable "Icon" and try to format it with International mode ticked this time... may help in the long run

Yes, we should have known better than to try to work it out for ourselves!

Well it managed to validate it and I was then able to access God, so I thought perhaps it had had a change of heart, but on the next reboot it was invalidated again. This machine seems to be having a crisis of faith! I think erasing God would be a bit unethical. I'll give it a chance to make its own mind up ;-)

1. God's maxtransfer is overily high.  Some older versions of God can only transfer 64k at a time.  Try ff00.

2. Install faith.library into LIBS: or you will keep having these God-crises.

3. Install prayer-handler into L:
