HighGFX made a good job for me, displayed all raytraced pictures and photos on my monitor.
On the technical side i must disagree, HighGX is a "normal" 35ns/4xbandwidth screenmode.
If you move a window with same dimensions on another 35ns screenmode (super72), the speed is equal.
If you move a bigger window (because on HighGFX you can do that) it is normal, that it is slower.
HighGFX in 16 colors is still usable and without flickerfixer you can reduce the flickering with
MagicTV.
When I made this screenmode, it was not the question of "Why should I do that?" ... the question was "Can I do that?".
