No,it is not abandonware;whether you like it or not Cloanto is a LICENSED seller of the ROM codes, etc.
I am just so damn disgusted with so-called premium supporters of anything who basically just want it all free.In the heydays of Commodore Amiga  too many felt they should only have to pay for the computer and then use all the stolen software they  could find.I guess Americans aren't so noble after all.
Hyperion and Amiga,Inc just went through a big court battle over the OS rights.Hyperion  won.

Amiga Forever also gathers all those bits in a nice  package that installs and runs easily for the average Amiga fan who doesn't have time and effort to play in the files.

All  you "cough" software thieves helped kill the Amiga market for software long ago.

I,for one, would rather not be known for how much of others' work I have stolen. You?

Hmm.
I bought C64 Forever and Amiga Forever 2009, both boxed versions, in November 2009. Until now I have not received the package. But I got a download link for the online version?!

So far no reaction from their support team.

Dude, people are buying this stuff and it's not showing up in the mail box. All the money that was to be made was already made, this is 20 year old stuff. The folks who wrote it moved on and the companies behind it are in the grave yard. The stuff folks need to emulate were built into the machines and just about everybody who would want to emulate paid for it at least once anyway considering they had an Amiga in days past!

Whatever you like to moan, I found AF 2005 (' 06?) a very convenient package to quickly get an emulated Amiga set up with a minimum of fuss and some nice goodies included (case badge, Deatbed Vigil, other various stuff on the DVD).

-edit-
Ontopic:
Have you guys tried phoning them?

I just got an email from them, where they basically confirmed my address(which was correct) and said they will send another one! :) Hope that one will arrive soon.

To *cough* or not to *cough*? I have my reasons for buying, you may or may not...

Yes, at age 13, my $0 allowance could have single-handedly saved the Amiga market from other ne're-do-well children like myself.

I do own several copies of Amiga Forever, incidentally: Amiga Forever 1.0 Preview Edition, Amiga Forever 2.0, Amiga Forever 2005 Premium Edition, and Amiga Forever 2008 Plus. I also spent almost 1,000 USD on an AmigaOS 4 box that I'm still trying to find a use for outside hobby programming, and I continue to buy new Amiga products, including donating new software to projects like WinUAE. So there.

Simply Tosh....The Amiga market was killed by Intel and Windows and Mac. Piracy had Zero to do with it. As piracy doesn't make a dent in M$ bottom line. Nor Piracy in any field of media except vertical market products where its often protected by crazy licence costs and support contracts. Piracy made the PlayStation and it has also made the XBox360. Every computer fair there is several chipping stalls.

If anything what really killed the Amiga was greedy shareholders and bad marketing and crazy wasteful product development and not outsourcing to the far east their manufacturing.
was Enterprise Vault (Its an Exchange Fail!), now its EMC Avamar, Dedupe for mostly everything including brain cells.

So you don't think the fact software was stolen to such an extent the software companies didn't make anything MIGHT affect their producing NEW programs for the Amiga that would convince even more people to buy Amigas is relevant?

And if you haven't the money to buy something ,it doesn't matter if you are 13 or 30,it is still stealing!Stealing isn't even necessary for food ,clothing,or shelter;if you can't get those from charities, then the government will take those things from people who worked for them and give it to you in much of the world.

Very few people appreciate anything they get without effort.

Commodore top management was admittedly inept and super-greedy.

As someone pointed out, it's not theft, it's copyright infringement. They are two very, very different things. You've been reading too much propaganda.

Now, you could argue that infringing uses contribute to piracy at large. Lost revenue is only an issue when 1) someone gives or receives something of value for a pirated copy or 2) someone who would have paid for a legal copy obtains a pirated copy for free. When I was 13, I was neither of those. I just wanted to play ports of my favorite arcade games, and most of those ports were quite bad compared to the originals--certainly not worth $50 if played less than 200 times, assuming the arcade version was $0.25.

As an adult, I've spent tens of thousands of dollars on software. I get heartburn just thinking about it. Despite that, publishers continue to put out crap software. If I could return crap software to the retailer, I would probably buy more than I do. As it is, buying software is always a gamble.

Case in point: After years of using trial versions of Hex Workshop (my favorite Windows hex editor), I purchased a license. Shortly after purchasing the software, I found a bug. I've reported the bug to the developer four times over the last six months, and I haven't received a response. The feature I specifically purchased the software to use does not work. Normally, the warranty of merchantability would apply, and I would receive a refund. Not so in the software world, where publishers and developers can sell you crap labeled as gold, and there's nothing you can do about it short of a lawsuit.
