Do you think that Robert will be able to finish that work?In the features it says

XMLHttpRequest
CSS/text rendering <----- This is interesting
basic javascript support
unicode/utf support
jpg, gif, png images support

If this happens it would be good to have a dedicated old pc running aros.

Is it going to happen though?In less than a week?

No its not im afraid as Rob decided to leave AROS, the work he has done so far though is quite extensive (a very early alpha was released). Right now it needs for someone to continue the work (maybe someone has?).

I really hope someone picks this up. A web browser really will unlock a lot of functionality for AROS. Web applications are becoming really quite useful, so high quality web-based office, paint and email apps could be used as a stop-gap to give AROS much needed functionality until software is ported natively.

Kind of figured he would from reading his blog, he seemed to ave issues with the direction of aros and seemed to be getting a lot more interested in developing for linux.

Its strange he even came to AROS at all having never used AmigaOS before :), but it shows that its possible for outsiders to get in and he did a great job on AROS for as long as he was around.
