I already tried this also. I got the same message. Are you sure that "Online" doesn't mean internet?

100% sure.

Is the card detected in the early boot menu (does it show
up in expansion boards), as described in the manual?

If so, and if after rebooting your system it still gives
this error, I advise you to contact Michael Boehmer of
E3B.

Regards,
Lloyd

BTW after software installation you did power off the
system and remove the jumpers, right?

I did everything what manual says. My system recognizes it and of course I removed the jumpers after the installation. :-?

Then contact Michael Boehmer. The hardware can't be
activated, because the self-test failed, just like
the message says.

Lloyd

No problem. Let us know what Michael says OK?
Might be handy for other users who encounter this problem.

I bought a CS060 MK2, but I have installed the Deneb tools from the beginning to use it with the new CPU board. I read on E3B site that this accelerator card have some problems, but I really don't understand to fix the problem.

All I can see is the Deneb logo in the beginning and then my Amiga freezes. Any solutions?

I suppose you installed the 68060.library and 68040.library before you installed the board? Are you absolutely sure that the freeze results from the Deneb (i.e. does removing the Deneb allow you to continue booting)? What's inside the FlashRom? Have you tried clearing it? Have you tried holding down the left mouse button to temporarily skip the contents of the FlashRom?

The problems related to the MK II (without SCSI Module) have actually been worked around (in fact, the problem is caused by a bug in the expansion.library, which unfortunately cannot be patched or changed). Any other Zorro cards with Autoconfig ROM in your machine?
