Could be interesting having two win partitions one for winuae exclusive and another for daily usage

That's probably a good idea.

Then again, if you need full Windows desktop too, then why not just run WinUAE from a desktop shortcut when you need it? That's way faster than rebooting the system.

By having 2 partitions, you can have a complete Windows and desktop on one, and a minimal install made with nLite on the other. That way you have full compatibility on the Windows side, and a faster and more efficient emulation environment on the other.

Rebooting Windows isn't the chore people claim it to be, if you apply some knowledge, time and effort. My XP boots very quickly, and shuts down in seconds. That's because I took the time to tailor it to my needs, instead of just installing from an OEM disc.

Use the best: Linux for servers, Mac for graphics, Windows for Solitaire.

My god you're helpful.

He's Finnish. Give him some of this for longer answers: :pint:

Disclaimer (aka: don't bash me you crazy Finns!): I have lots of Finnish friends (and met an awesome Finnish guy last week, who doesn't even need a drink to start talking!! or stop talking! No wonder he lives in Austria!), and I love Marcus Gronholm! (even though I'm supporting Peter Solberg, hahaha)! :-D
