I read the article about the PC conversion back when it was first posted. It's made relatively easy since the C64 outputs Luma and Chroma video signals, which are the components of S-Video; the monitor in the SX64 can thus be connected almost directly to a modern graphics card. Only the physical connection needs to be adapted, the electric one works out-of-the-box. Then there's of course the software config part...
The other neat thing about this conversion is that the entire original structure has been kept. The original ports are still on the back. External adapters are used to connect modern peripherals.
Of course, the other way to get Google on there would be one of those new-ish C64 network interfaces. :-)
