A Piccolo 64SD went for $255 last week. I was interested but thought this was a bit steep. I too would prefer a PIV but none are to be found. I settled on a Cybervision 64 3D from Software Hut. They have a few brand new ones left and are selling for $179.

Do the the Cybervision cards at Software Hut have flicker fixers with them? It'd nice to have high res but I'd really like to promote the old screen modes as well.

I think, Therefore - Amiga....

No. You either need another monitor connected to your rgb out or a monitor switch connected to both the C643D and a flicker fixer. I'm using it on an A3000 that has a built-in flicker fixer and I have a monitor switch as well. I don't use native modes very often anyway.
