Extracting Star Fighter: D'Yammen's Reign
« on: January 05, 2008, 10:25:49 PM »
Hi there,
I seem to be having difficulty extracting the .rar file of the recently released internet version. Both the Amiga UnRAR program and a windows unRAR program don't recogise the ".iso" file in the archive, and thus they refuse to extract it.

Anyone any suggestions on a util to try?

Also, what system specs does this game require?

Thanks,
Hodgkinson.

I don't see why unrar would care what kind of file it is. Especially not the AMIGA version.   :-?

the ISO file is a ready to burn to CD archive ... just load it into your favourite cd-writing software and away you go

The problem is I can't actually get anything to extract the ISO file from the RAR file. The two programs that I've tried whine about the ISO file for some reason.

use WinRAR ... if that fails then 7-zip

most modern day archives won't extract with earlier versions of de-archivers
