Acube dead already ?
« on: December 31, 2007, 06:46:31 PM »
After reading the (fantastic) news that a company is going to start production of complete minimigs I hurriedly followed the link to the company's site, only to find that its dead.

http://www.acube-systems.com

Can someone tell me if this is temporary, or other things have happened?

Thanks!

Here's the problem:

Everblue was using this link: http://www.acube-systems.com

And those who have access are using this link: http://www.acube-systems.biz

Wrong suffix.

No need to roll your eyes, CLS. It's clearly a routing problem.

I think it's no routing problem.

The acube-systems.com domain has (probably) been parked, waiting for renewal:
Code: [Select]

     Domain name: ACUBE-SYSTEMS.COM
     Created on: 2007-01-05
     Updated on: 2007-01-05
     Expires on: 2008-01-05

I've never heard about parking it before the expiration date, though, that sounds a bit weird :)

Hmmm... speculating further... maybe Acube, themselves, are parking it in preparation for dumping?

When I followed the link provided by SLayeR first realized that there were two domains in question, but the page changed a couple of times. First it had the image SLayeR suggested, then it looked like the page I remember from previous visits, then it looked like SLayeR's image again. So, maybe... it's just under construction?
