A1000 for spares
« on: December 19, 2007, 06:07:13 AM »
Hi,

I have been having a clearout and found a rather battered A1000 that I found in work years ago.  Its been hacked around a bit before I got it unfortunately, so only good for spares.

The top cover (the one with all the signatures on it unfortunately) and front cover over the memory board are missing.  The wires from the psu have been cut (its a US version, so I guess somebody tried hacking in a UK psu of some sort?). It does have the front memory expansion card (256Mb I think?) as well as a floppy drive and external keyboard.

Its the rev 6 board, the version with the secondary board on stilts with various chips etc.  All custom chips are present on the mainboard.

Does anybody want it for spares, before I send it off to the nearest recycling/processing centre?

I'm in South Wales, UK.

I need the keyboard, could you part that?
Better sorry than worry.
