yes. If it does not hurt to have any additional LIBS in there.
If something needs it. It will use it. it wont hurt to have useless ones there.

Have you tried setting the env vars just as nasty wrote above?
BTW Mediator/Warp3D should be set to No (if I recall correctly it's supposed to be set to Yes only when using Voodoo 4/5), and Warp3D/Mediator/MemSize to 7.
Also, make sure you close every window and turn off your WB backdrop (if any) in order to save some video memory.

Hi
Right just been using my amiga again after a having a break from it and i still aint got ward3d sorted.

Now after looking at Nasty's post above i checked out my "0s3.9/envarchive/powerpc" folder.
In my folder i only have one script file which is named "force" and is set to 1..

Why do i only have one file in there??What do i need to do to correct this??
Thanks in advance.

i know this might not be much help, but i was tearing my hair out trying to figure out this and that on my WarpUP Warp3D config. nothing would work. PPC exceptions all over the place.
my install was 3.9, with the version of WarpUP off the 3.9CD, it is the latest version (?apparently?)

got hacked off and installed the version of WarpUP (V4.0) off of my HereticII CD and the version of Warp3D off of there. thinking about it, there was no way they would distribute a game with an unqualified mix of drivers surely?

it worked! version 3 of warp3D and WarpUP v4 running fine.
Heretic2 works,
WipeOut2097 works,
Truereality N64 works,
GLQuake works,
Warp3D demo works,
WarpOS Meter (ppc cpu meter) works...

upgraded warp3d to version 4.2, much better speed. but left WarpUP at version 4. not set to compatable mode during the install...

i've also installed blizzpatch off of aminet that disables the PPC.library on startup, and set memory protected to "yes" using warp prefs.

i have no idea if that'll work for you and your drool worthy setup, but just an idea.... i hope you get it nailed down soon  :-)

A500, A600, A1200x3, A2000, A3000, A4000 & a CD32.
and probably just like the rest of you, crates full of related "treasure" for the above XD

I have tried this sooo many times that i truly am out of ideas,i have re-installed warpup,warp3d and still no joy...

Do all warp3d drivers work or do you have to use the ones from the mediator cd??
Thanks

try this:

goto the BPPC Flash memory settings to check to not have waitstates for PPC disabled

then try this powerpc.library

if the med report is still current, then the error looks as simple as not having any gfx mem address set.

Be sure to be using latest warp3d from elbox site. nommu mode.

with the ppclibemu installed terminator must be 0 and nopatch1

also running through all the settings in med config and it will advise correct values.

Did you delete all Shogo-related files from ENVARC: and ENV: as i explained? Then reboot and run Shogo launcher again. Does it work then?

Yeah did erase the files that you mentioned but i get the same error on shogo aswell as the gears demo.

With the 68k i just get a empty window and on the ppc version i just get an exception error.

How much GFX memory should i have for a voodoo3??at the moment without a wallpaper image i have 1,929,288...Is that about right??Seems small??
