-voxel - you have a very impressive collection.

Thanx, I love it too ;-)

-You considered starting an online museum with pictures, specs etc?

That's in my projects to do something like that, and perhaps more :-)

Wait and see :-D

Here

I use my main 1200T (PPC equipped) primarily for coding and music. The first 1200D is used for testing, oldschool gaming and so on. The other A1200D doesn't really belong to me, it's on a sort of "indefinate loan" from a friend :-)

Lessee... I've got:

A4000D, 040/25MHz, 1 64MB card on CF2IDE as Workbench, 1 4GB IDE as Applications and Games, and 1 10GB SCSI as Storage on a fully populated GVP 4008, Compaq SCSI CDROM, 16MB Fast, 2MB Chip, External SCSI ZIP drive, Sega Genesis game pad, Lyra keyboard adapter, New-style OEM replacement mouse, 1950 monitor

A2000HD, stock, fully populated GVP 2008, 1GB SCSI HDD, unknown cartrige-style 1x CDROM. Currently disabled due to the FDD being in the A4000D (my 1.44MB drive needs microswitches).

2 A1200 Boards, currently non-functional

A500 on permanent loan... Some sort of RAM upgrade in the expansion slot, haven't looked at it closely tho. I borrowed it to work on the A1200 boards, needed the PSU. Guy moved and I haven't seen him since. *shrug*

And of course the ever presesnt WinUAE with all the trimmings. Used the KS from my A4000D, since it's the only one with a v3.1 ROM.
- Doc

A4000D, A3640 OC-36.3MHz, custom tower, Mediator A4000D. Diamond Banshee 16M, Indivision AGA 4000, GVP HC+8.

Mac Mini 1.5GHz, that might run MorphOS someday, when the fools who own it come to the realization that 30 minutes just isn\'t enough time to play with it enough to decide whether or not you like it enough to cough up $200.

 - Someone please design SOME kind of DIY accelerator for the A4000. :D -

@voxel
Impressive!!  I thought I had it bad...errrr....good.

A4000D, 128MB RAM, Cyberstorm '060 MK1 w/SCSI, Prometheus w/VooDoo3 3000, 18GB 10,000RPM SCSI, Pioneer IDE DVD Rom, RTL8029 Nic, Phase 5 scandoubler from CV64/3d (yes, alone), KickFlash OS4 (45.57 kickstart removes IDE boot delay).... Web browse, Newsgroups, Storm C (learning!), email, whdload.

A3000D, 128MB RAM, Cyberstorm '060 MK2, A4091 SCSI, Prometheus w/VooDoo3 2000, RTL8029 Nic, 4GB 7200RPM SCSI... Ditto from above, except the whdload.. Machine seems alot faster/smoother than above (?!)

A2000, Megachip 2mb, 128MB RAM, TekMagic '060 50MHZ, 4GB 10000RPM SCSI, Amber Scandoubler & Picasso II+, ASDG Dual Serial board, C= Ethernet Nic w/10baseT adaptor... This box is just sitting here gathering dust.  The Zorro II limitations make it feel much slower than the other boxes, no matter the video card,  which have spoiled me ;) so I don't use it much anymore.

A4000D, 16mb RAM, A3640 @40mhz, Picasso IV, ASDG EB920 Nic, 40MB IDE HD and Creative 8X DVD Rom... Lots and lots of Whdload!!!!  AIBB tells me this box is waaaay slower than an A4000/25, probably something to do with the 40mhz overclock and jumpering on the motherboard.

A1200D, 32mb RAM, Apollo 1260LC/75 @ 50mhz.... Web browse ;), email, and lots and lots of whdload, baby!!!

A500 X 3, A2000 X 2.... Gathering dust.

A1200 in parts... Will be resurrected soon and headed for eBay.

I was hit hard by this bug and have had alot of fun assembling this collection.  I'll probably be slimming it down soon considering I've just about experienced it all ;).

Adrian

A3000D - KS 3.1, 2MB Chip, 4MB Fast, Stock 030/882 @ 25MHz, 2GB SCSI HDD, Ext SCSI ZIP100

Classic gaming on my 17" monitor

A1200 - KS 3.0, 2MB Chip, 8MB Fast, Stock 020 @ 14MHz w/882 @ 14MHz, 1GB IDE HDD

Classic/AGA gaming on a 1084S

A500 - KS 1.3, 1MB Chip, 8MB Fast, Stock 000 @ 7MHz, GVP HD8+ w/50MB SCSI HDD

Classic gaming on a 1084S

A2000HD - KS 1.3/2.0, 1MB Chip, 2MB Fast, Stock 000 @ 7MHz, 170MB SCSI HDD

Just sitting there waiting for a bigger hdd, an opal vision card and an 030 cpu board. Not sure what I'll do with it though.

2 x A1000's - bog standard except for a 256K ram upgrade.

Don't know why I ever bought em, they look cool though :-D

So thats it, thats my Amiga collection, all I use my miggies for these days is playing games, I just don't see the point in using them for anything else. I'm not interested in making music or video editing, and when it comes to work/modern games, my Athlon based machine does everything I need it to. Well...err...thats my AU$0.02 worth anyway.

I recently acquired a boxed Amiga 2000 with a GVP 2001 SCSI card and a 250MB drive.

I added the following:

Blizzard 2060 w/64MB
Conner 4.3GB SCSI drive
Sony SCSI CD-ROM drive
Kickstart 3.1
Workbench 3.1
CyberGraphX 64/3D
ViewSonic PS790
X-Surf

I will use it to play old games, get on the net, and just enjoy the old Commodore scene. :)

Ok, to add my miggies (all of them are hobbymachines, none of them are used as mainsystems):

A1200 (used for everything except websurfing)
OS 3.9/KS 3.1
Blizzard 1260/50
Blizzard SCSI-card
2x 64 MB 72 pins fast ram
4 GB 2.5" internal IDE harddisk
1.76 MB internal HD diskdrive
3Com589 PCMCIA nic
internal DCE flickerfixer
A500 PSU
15" Compaq CRT
HP4L laserprinter
SCSI-tower with:
Toshiba 40 speed SCSI cd-romdrive
100 MB SCSI zipdrive
18 GB 50 pins(!) SCSI harddrive
some sort of SCSI CD-R drive (to be replaced by a Plextor CDRW)

A2000 (works better with games compared to the 1200):
OS 3.1/KS 3.1
2 GB SCSI harddisk
some sort of SCSI-controller with 2 MB fastram
some sort of ramcard with 2 MB fastram
Minimegachip for a total of 2 MB chipmem
2x internal DD diskdrive
A1084 CRT
Multivision 2000 flickerfixer
X-Surf II nic

and and extra A2000 gathering dust on a shelf, also with some sort of SCSI-controller and ramexpansion...
Life sucks. Then you die. Then they throw mud in your face. Then you get eaten by worms. Be happy it happens in that order... My Amiga 1200

A1200 Desktop:
KS 3.1 OS 3.5
Viper 1230@46MHz
32MB RAM
8GB HD
PCMCIA NIC

A600:
KS 3.1 OS 3.1
2MB RAM
50MB HD

2xA600 Unexpanded:

I use the A1200 for gaming, mostly Frontier
and to test all the great games and software out there.

The expanded A600 is for games that would not run on the A1200.

One of the unexpanded A600 is the heart of my Amiga Laptop project and the other is just for nostalgia(its very, very yellow and its my brothers Amiga)

A1200 1d4 ks3.1 in tower
apollo060@66 64RAM
mediator+voodoo3+ethernet
ps/2-keyboard,mouse adapter
ATX-software-switcher
external tv-tuner
OS3.9 bb2.
This one ami is for everyday using i.e. email\irc\icq etc...

A1200 1d4 ks3.0 in original case
Blizzard030@50 32RAM
Microvitek(Amiga) M1438S (www.webworldinc.com/transdata/ti01014.htm)
OS3.1.
This one just for gaming and some drawing because PAL monitor and tv-tuner of "everyday"-amiga haves poor picture from AGA.

A1200 2b? ks3.1 working plate with pc-keyboard adapter :)

A3000D
-Apollo 4040 with 128 MB RAM
-ROM 3.1/WB 3.9/Rev 11 Buster/Rev 8 SCSI
-2 MB Chip/12 MB FAST on motherboard
-2 GB SCSI Harddrive
-4 GB SCSI Harddrive
-HP CdWriter Plus 9210i
-XSurf
-Cybervision 64 4 MB
-VLab YUV
-Iomega ZIP 100 SCSI
-Lyra interface
-Cybex KVM-switch
-IBM G97 19" CRT monitor
-Pyramid Sound Enhancer
-Midi Interface

A1200
-Turbo 1230
-ROM 3.0/WB 3.0
-2 MB Chip/4 MB FAST
-1 GB IDE Harddrive
-3Com Etherlink III PCMCIA NIC

A500
-ROM 2.04/WB 2.1
-1 MB Chip
-AlfaPower IDE interface with 2 MB FAST RAM
-AdIDE 44 Novia IDE Interface
-80 MB IDE Harddrive
-170 MB IDE Harddrive
-Commodore 1084 Monitor

A500
-ROM 1.2
-512 kB CHIP/512 kB FAST

My A3000 is connected to my home network and is used mainly for E-mail, Image Processing (Image FX) and anything where I need a fast texteditior (Cygnus Ed). I also use Bars&Pipes for sequencing. The other computers are for games that won't work on the a3k but are rarely used. I would love a Sunrize AD516 sound card or maybe a Delfine Flipper. I also wouldn't mind a towercase with mediator :-D
