I have 3 toaster/flyer setups for video work, 2 3000's one of which has a vlab/motion for video work. The other has a genlock on it.  Also have several 2000's one of which keep all our recorde and does booking.

Apps include  Final Writer, Turbocalc, Service Industry Accounting, and final Data among others. We also use a GVP Phone Pak in a 2000.

Well i have some amigas  ;)

1.  One A3000 i got from a customer who retired. Nothing fancy.

2. One A4000, but the cybervision 64 3d seems to be broken.. ;-/

3. One A1200 030/50 32mb, Melody 1200 Pro Mp3-decoder/encoder, works primarily as a mp3-recorder and a streaming audio machine atm.

4. One 1200 030/50 @ work, mainly there to make me feel happy, and running demos when inspiration is lacking.

5. WinUAE (does that count?) , mainly used for software development using StormC 4, and GCC..

Also running webserver with Mysql and Php, telnet server etc on it (the a1200 that is)

Also softwares as PPaint, PerfectPaint, ArtPro, and such makes life easier too..

Shut up, bignose!  :-D

It's like asking bees if they like sugar :-)

Got an A1200 with 060 50MHz 64MB a 20GB HDD. Also got a mediator plus Voodoo3 in store since I managed to kill the external keyboard which is a necessity in order to use the previus (arrgh!).
I think I managed to convince (read: serius begging) a friend to lend me his, since he's mostly using Linux anyway.

I use my A1200 to write on, surf (IB2.3), e-mail (Yam), make drawings and illustrations (PPaint), programming (StormC, AMOSPro). Well, lot's of things. Except gaming, 24-bit image processing and raytracing. That's what I have my x86 for. XP2000+, FSB 266MHz, 512MB DDR, Matrox Parhelia 512, built-in AC97. Ha! Too late.

(edit)
And I'm waiting for AOS4.0 to be released, then I'm gonna get myself an A1.
(/edit)
*Zap! Zap!* Ha! Take that! *Kabooom!* Hey, that\'s not fair!

I have an A3000D converted to a tower and an A500.

I got the A500 in 1990 to replace my C= 64.  It was my only computer until late 1996.  I then upgraded to an A3000 because the 'net was unbearable on the 500.

I used the 3000 for general computing (i.e. network apps, games, ect.) until 2000.  At the end my 3k was outfitted with a CSPPC 233/50, Picasso IV, and a X-Surf card.

In 2000, I got a K6-2 PC running Win98 for course work (i.e. word processing, simulations, programming) things that couldn't be done on the Amiga.  I used the 3k for everything else.

However, last October, the 3k got VERY flakey and I don't have time to troubleshoot the hardware.  So, I have a WinXP machine I use for network apps and my wife uses for games.  I also have a P3 Win2k laptop and (two heads are better than one!) an Athlon XP Win2k machine I use for course work.  I ditched the K6-2 sometime back in 2001....I think.

@Samuar
My primary AmigaOS box, is a WinUAE-JIT with AmigaOS 3.9 (+ boing ball 1) on the Athlon XP ~2.1Ghz/nForce II 400 Ultra/512Mb PC3200 DDR SDRAM. Connected to Dobby Digital 5.1 set-up. My use of AmigaOS is just for leisure purpose only i.e. getting a time off from Win32 based development.

I have an unused Amiga 3000D with 16Mb RAM, Kickstart 3, 030 @25Mhz, 882 @50Mhz (over clocked) and two Amiga 500 (rev 5 and 6A).

I’m probably a good target for Alan’s AmigaOne (with AOS 4.0)  lite leisure computing target.... .
Amiga 1200 PiStorm32-Emu68-RPI 4B 4GB.
Ryzen 9 7900X, DDR5-6000 64 GB, RTX 4080 16 GB PC.

voxel - you have a very impressive collection. You considered starting an online museum with pictures, specs etc? I imagine it would be of large interest to the amiga community.

Like many here, I have several Amiga systems as well. You can find all their specs on my site.

http://www.geocities.com/irperez/

It just lists all of my machines, maybe I will update the site with some specific uses of each machine. I can summerize them as follows: A4000 (basic usage), A1200 (Games/webserver), CD32 (games), CDTV (CDPlayer), A500/A2000 (Museum pieces).

Athlon 2400+ XP
GA-7NNXP m/b
1024Mb DDR RAM
52x24x52 CD-RW
16x DVD-ROM
40Gb 7200 ATA133 HDD
17" LCD Monitor
WinUAE

:¬)  Sorry, could not resist.  But surely something similar must be what the vast majority of "Amiga users" today are running?  What I really wanted, back in 1992 or so, was the A1200.  Somehow it never happened though.  I still look out for them now, but I won't pay the silly prices I often see them being advertized at.  And to be fair, I don't look THAT hard.  After all, it's basically just a collectable now.

Like most here, I have a number of Amigas in my collection.  A3000-primary machine, A1200, A500 w/A570, another w/Supra XP, and one with a GVP expansion, A600 for portable use, and an A1000.

In addition there are number of Windows, Macs, and older machines (Hp's original Hp-85, Apple IIc, several Ataris, a ZX-81)  My oldest son is a Linux fanatic (fanatisism might run in my family).  The modern machines are useful for downloading Mp3s, and those several times when I need compatibility with the Windows world.  My Amigas are easily the most enjoyable and logically elegant machines to use.  The others serve in a supporting role when I'm forced to use them.

Me too ....

O.k. got an A2000 with 2630@32mhz that was my main/only Amiga for about 6years
(had an Blizzard2060 at the end).

Not in use today.

A AthlonXP with Amithlon, which pretty much replaced it in 2001.
Today used for general net-stuff (under Linux)

An 4000 with lots of bits and parts I bought in early 02 (was just a too good deal to resist).
has been used for playing ToT and email for a while, but is now idle.

Since Oct 2002 I got a Pegasos, which I only use for coding and ToT.
Plus Knights&Merchants if I ever find the time again ..
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else

Broken, some have parts to fix others don't
3xA1200 ( mostly screwed up mobos from the line below )
   2xBlizzardPPC cards ( 200(?), 240 )
   4xA500 ( one is a plus )
   1xA4000/040

Working but disused
1xA1200 in a tower running AOS3.5 with ZIV and PicassoIV.
   1xA1500 no expansion, AOS1.3

Working, in use
1xA1200 with Mediator, Voodoo, BlizzardPPC240/060 etc etc trimmings ... running AOS4.0 (beta)
  1xAthlon XP2100 running Amiga Forever
1xThinkpad X21 running UAE on Linux Mandrake 9.1

And plenty of kit given away, some sharing, but thats whats in the same house as I am residing this week.

Then theres lots of non Amiga kit that don't run anything to do with Amigas ;-)
Hate figure.

That's in my projects to do something like that, and perhaps more :-)
