Heh? The Amiga's already got an equivalent in the form of Turrican's 1, 2 & 3.

The "main download site" is poke53280.com. Didn't that change the border color on the Commodore 64?

Nope.  Close though.  IIRC it changed the background color and poke 53281 would change the border.  :)

Graphically wise it reminds me of ACSYS. Too bad that project hasn't been finished.

Wierdami was right.  poke 53280,x would change the border color and poke 53281,y would change the background color.

According to Wikiepdia 53280 changes the border color.

Here's another link that mentions this.

Looks nice in the screenshots.

Doesn't run beyond the initial window on my system.

And in the 20 minutes that I've been in Windows XP my stress levels have quadrupled. Has there ever been an operating system design to frustrate and irritate?

Shame they didn't write the game on a more cross-platform API - SDL, OpenGL, etc. It could easily have been ported to other systems then :(

edit: runs now, I had to install new audio drivers. It's quite fun, but just as difficult as Turrican ever was.

Nice game indeed. I already tried some others Turrican clones on the PC but this is the best. Of course, I prefer Turrican I and II on the Amiga.
