There are Picasso96 drivers for Permedia 2 based cards (ie CVPPC) for OS4, so if you have a PPC, thats a future solution.

There is a 68K version of this driver that worked in OS3.9. In much earlier versions of OS4 (at least for BPPC), specifically before P96 was ported to PPC, you generally needed to set it up as part of the preperation for installing the beta.

I don't think it was ever released outside of the betatest though.

@Brian

Nobody is allowed to send you that file (i might have it but i'd have to search through hundreds of old OS4 beta updates, even if I *could* give it to you).

However, if they are feeling super generous, they might let you have a copy if you email Hans-Joerg or Thomas and ask nicely, making sure to specify that you absolutely won't ask for technical support, and promise not to spread it.

(I kinda doubt it, though).

Edit: You have a CSPPC anyway, so once OS4 is actually released for classic, thats your problem solved :)

I'd appriciate the effort if you did try to find it xeron... you know... just in case.

Since I'm not going OS4 on this project, at least not yet with all the custom hardware added to the MediatorPCI system, it's not the solusion to my problem.

Please don't try to paint me as some rouge... I actually got hold of an A4000PPC machine with OS4beta on it a few years back but I didn't copy/spread/use it but instead as promised deleted the lot and installed OS3.x on it. I just want to get this to work... somehow... since this driver is now basicly unused work why not let a single individe like me gains something from it, does it hold some secret treasure to an untold world.. think not?

So I again ask if someone can get hold of this CVPPC P96 68K driver I'd appriciate it a Great, GREAT deal.
