LOLz, if Doomy can answer my questions, I'll buy his stupid A4000! (just kidding) :

I have a few questions for you:

1. One day, a person went to horse racing area, Instead of counting the number of human and horses, he instead counted 74 heads and 196 legs. Yet he knew the number of humans and horses there. How did he do it, and how many humans and horses are there?

2. If 1/2x +1/2(1/2x + 1/2(1/2x +1/2(1/2x + ... = y,
then x = ?

3. What place in this world can have their temperatures Fahrenheit and Celsius equal?

4. You have two block of clay in cube form and the edges are 10 cm. How many spheres with a radius of 5 cm can you make with that amount of clay?

5. Every month, a girl gets allowance. Assume last year she had no money, and kept it up to now. Then she spends 1/2 of her money on clothes, then 1/3 of the remaining money on games, and then 1/4 of the remaining money on toys. After she bought all of that, she had $7777 left. Assuming she only gets money by allowance, how much money does she earn every month?

6. If ax*x + bx +c = 0,
then what is x?

Thx!

Best! Auction! Ever! :-D

EDIT:

When questions about shipping are asked, he says "read the entire auction". Somewhere in between the whole load of horsecr*p he writes is stated "Questions about shipping will not be answered."

So, shipping costs outside USA/Canada are supposed to be a surprise? For all I know he could be charging another $500 for shipping this thing to Europe, and he can simply get away with it.

There, another reason to not trust this fraudulous excuse for a human being.
Besides, an American citizen named Hans. No wonder he has issues

"NOTE:  Shipping on this Amiga computer is only $40 (US and Canada only).  ROW pays actual shipping cost."

... but then ....

"A large heavy cardboard shipping box costs about $5.95. The foam costs about $7.99 per sheet (1 to 2 sheets needed to completely surround and protect the computer). The handling charge is only $5.00. So, $20 plus shipping should cover everything."

$20 handling + $40 shipping.

Stated clearly in the auction

You won't get, as they are not listed in the auction, the 040 card, PSU, hard drive, the battery he took off the mother board, kickstart roms which he has probably removed, keyboard, mouse, power cord, OS disks, manuals, etc

I asked the guy if these parts were to follow the computer, and if the computer would start when connected to power...
But... no answer... would that be a shock?

I don't know if this was you but someone asked him to be more specific about the machine on the auction.

Here's what he wrote"
The motherboard revision is B. All revision B motherboards include Commodore's 68040, 25 MHz board. The battery was not replaced because an Amiga 4000 does not need it. The hard drive is the standard 120 MB drive. The two drives shown in the picture are the high quality Chinon high-density disk drives. I am keeping them. I plan to install them in one of my Amiga 2500 computers. As clearly stated in the auction, one disk drive is included. It is a Chinon 880K drive. DF1 drive faceplate will be included. The Kickstart is version 3.0. Workbench 3.1 is installed on the hard drive. The Amiga 4000 keyboard and mouse, both in like new condition, are not included. I plan to use them with one of my Amiga 2500 computers. I never bothered to upgrade this Amiga 4000 because the Amiga 2000 computers are much nicer, higher quality computers. So, I upgraded them with KS 3.1, WB 3.9, video board, FF/SD board, 2-meg chip ram, 68040 / 060 board, ethernet board, lots of fast memory, and the best of the best Amiga software. I plan to buy one of the new Amigas for running Amiga OS 4.0, so I do not need a low-quality, poorly designed Amiga 4000 or 1200 computer. I am having a hard time understanding why you guys love these pieces of {bleep}. Even Dave Hanie said that the Amiga 4000 and 1200 are pieces of crap and that Commodore should never have released them. Anyway, I hope this answers your questions.

-So he say's it's a revision B mother board, but he STILL didn't say this one had an 040, just stated that all revision B motherboards came with 040s, so this still needs to be clarified.  Classic Doomy trick (as you'll see more below with the keyboard/mouse)
-The battery was indeed not replaced.
-The 2 drives in the picture?? Yeah, No, you don't get those.  You get a non-standared double density drive that never shipped with an A4000, and also it will be missing the face plate for df1.  Nice.
-No Workbench disks, but he did install a "copy" of it on the HD though.  I hope AI here's about this!
-No keyboard or mouse, he's keeping these for himself because they're in such great condition

You can see how he tries to trick people with lines like this:
The Amiga 4000 keyboard and mouse, both in like new condition, are not included.

He's not lying, but he hopes people just are skimming and see what they want, ie: keyboard and mouse are in like new condition, which they are, they're just aren't included.

The guy is very shady.

I wrote to him with this:

Q:     If the Amiga 4000 is so {bleep}, why do you have one?    May-08-07

A:     Because it was good for bragging rights (oh, look at me, I've got an Amiga 4000). But, as far as the Amiga 4000 being a usable computer, it was not. I actually got more use out of my Amiga 2000 computers. I mean just look at the Amiga 4000, it does not have SCSI or a built-in flicker fixer / scan doubler and the AGA chipset is not all its cracked up to be. Also, the Amiga 4000's motherboard is the lower quality surface mount technology. The Amiga 2000 and 3000 computer,s motherboards are the higher quality thru-hole technology. Let us face the facts, the Amiga 4000 and 1200 are poorly designed, low quality pieces of crap. Dave Hanie was right when he said that Commodore should have never produced and released them.

Q: You are Mad.

YOU knoe yous he is a prick...duh.. however contzero... he is also right about the fact thet the 1200 and 4000 are much lower build quality than the 2000... all you need to do it take them apart you can feel the differnece.

However ifcourse the 4000 is a better box as it has better technology.... dommy is a trouble insane troll. but he is not as wrong as you would like him to be... sorry....

anyway back when lot's of people used amiga this was a well know fact.....

@guru

Bah ! The way the case is built totally irrelevant, the functionality is all it counts. The A2000 is condemned to Zorro II bus, which is a real bummer as it's 16 bit and slow. It's good for old school gaming, but pointless to upgrade to a gfx board/ethernet. IT crawls (I have a A2000 with GVP040(33MHz)/32mb ram/ ECS spectrum/ X-surf, so I know what I'm talking about). My A3000 on the other hand, flies when compared to the A2000 with a warp engine(28MHz) and picassoII board.

yes yes the 2000 is slower....but the quality is not just the case it the mobu and the surface mounts just like dommy claims.

However, we both know that the 4000 is more fun.   but you know you can put  piccasso IV and phase5 060 in the 2000 making it a fantastic machine... don't you wish you had one like that?

I would alos like to note that it obvious that the doom master suffers from some kind of mental illness, do we realy need to feed his ego or worsen the condition y talkign about his ever auction?  Just ignore them.
