That will get you the roms.  The rest of it might be a bit more problmatic as no A500 hardware has been made in a while  Hang around here or haunt ebay.

You'll find lots of stuff there. Give Paul a ring and ask about the stuff you want.
Good Luck! :pint:

Sounds good,I'm looking at building a computer that runs AmigaOS 3.9 I will then give this computer to the local library so people can play with it. I also would like the thing to be Internet ready.

It might not give a very good impression of the platform then - I've never done it myself, but from what I've heard browsing the web with a stock 68000 would be like trying to swim in tar with lead weights attatched to you :-(   Did anyone ever make 040 or 060 accelerators for the A500?

Wasnt there an A500 33MHz 68040 card made by GVP back in 1992 ish?

I seem to recall it came with Kickstart 2.1 on it and cost about a grand :-)

Recall a review in Amiga Shopper magazine (cool mag in its day)...

Should I use a 8088 Bridgeboard, Commodore 286 Bridgeboard, or  a 286 emulator on my  Amiga 500?

Wasn't the 8088 an Intel chip at about 4Mhz made just after the 8086?  If so I wouldn't bother at all - even later MS-DOS won't run on it.  In fact, I wouldn't bother with any kind of x86 board - it won't be an "Amiga", and a 486 is the absolute mininum for web browsing.

For $130, perhaps you'd be better off getting an accelerated A1200?  Unless you want to add a graphics card, I cannot imagine how bad the web would be in OCS screenmodes  :-o
