Hello again to an old friend
« on: April 14, 2007, 11:44:43 PM »
Hi I'm readie

I have been wanting to get back into the Amiga scene for sometimes now and been looking around for a decent machine. Today I found and bought a nice A1200 on eBay, it's pretty stock but I plan to do upgrade it and turn it into a bit of a project.

In the 90's I owned an Amiga 500+ and absolutely loved it before the PC took over my life; I subsequently sold my 500+ to a mate in the late 90's. I work with PC's and Microsoft products all day with my job, and an Amiga would make a welcome change and hopefully bring with it some most welcome nostalga. I have been using WinUAE for sometime on PC's for playing some of the classic games which seem to have far more playability than some games that I have on my xbox 360; hey graphics dont mean a thing if you havent got playability. Anyway thought I would say hi and looking forward to putting in my two-pence worth on the forums :)

They will only vote the way their masters tell them to.
And I\'ve seen what their masters vote for (not an encouraging demonstration).
