BTW, where can I find an adapter to hook a PC keyboard to an Amiga 4000?  As mentioned in my first post, the other unit I saved from the junk pile was an
Amiga 4000.  I have been able to get it operational!  However there is no keyboard.  I have plenty of PC keyboards so I figure that is the way to go.

Thanks again...

Where are you? I have an Amiga keyboard with PS/2 plug on the end of its lead. Don't know if that's what you want, and postage might be unreasonable - but it is very clean. I am sure there must be suitable genuine keyboards available from somewhere.

Hi,

I am in the U.S.  What would it cost me to have that mailed?  I really do need it if the cost is reasonable...

Mm, I don't know on mail cost, offhand, not too sure on the weight/bulk of it when packed.

It has UK keyboard with SHIFT-3 giving a GB Pound sign, and it does not have the international keys (i.e. left SHIFT and RETURN are big). Model No. KKQ-E94YC.

Hi,

AS long as it works that is fine by me.. Not worried about which keys show.  If you can find out an estimated cost and let me know... we can go from there..

Thanks again

Don't know if it works - no big box Amiga to try it on. It was supposed to be working.

Is there anybody in middle England with a machine that it can be plugged into to find out?

Welcome Malakie.
Sorry to hear about your injury and I hope we can help raise your spirits a bit with some old computer parts.

I also have some extra gear and I've been looking to clear out some of my stuff. I don't know if I'll have what you need, but definitly mail and ask. I'm in Atlanta and the shipping will be much better than from the UK :-)

If you're handy with a soldering iron, there are many cheap projects for adding hardware or hacks to your amigas too.
