You can't beat the yorkshire accent speel - if only I still had a copy of that classic track "Who's that!"......

Anyway, glad to see my voice on there. Cheers guys! :-)

Oh, and listen out at the end of my clip for CU_AMiGA blowing a raspberry trying to mess up the recording......he's still as immature as ever......

This proves to me that appearences can be deceptive. You sound  quite softly spoken but I'd imagined you'd sound quite different looking at your avatar :-)

He looks well 'ard. :-)

I've only just realised the windows drag, that's awesome!

Anywho...

adz - If I didn't know already, I don't think I would have pinned down your accent!

Cecilia - Hello! :-D

Karlos - Somehow you're speaking in the exact same accent I always heard in my head reading CU Amiga and C&VG mags from the early 90s. That sort of simultaneously laddish and nerdy journo vibe. I think I just gave your voice a wine review.

mick_aka - You don't sound bad to me...?

Speelgoedmannetje - My ignorant attempts at pronouncing your handle weren't as far off the mark as I'd thought! P.S.: I just have a good microphone. ;-)

Whabang - that is some enunciation!

Wilse - Well, I love tons of things about Scotland, the accent is definitely one of them. :-)

Jeez, I've been so busy with my new job...

I'll borrow a mic at some point and do mine.
Every time I've heard my voice recorded, it sounds really nasal though :-(

I like Amigas

Didn't even know I had an accent, I always thought my voice was quite neutral, I'm kinda curious to know what you were expecting.

Don't worry, nobody likes the sound of their own voice :-D

...Er, Australian? :-D

Everyone has an accent, they just don't think they do 'cause people assimilate and assume the local standard is the norm.

You don't sound un-Australian, but I wouldn't have really picked it up. Maybe with a longer sample there'd be more artifacts of your locale. :-)

A few strategically placed ¨G´day¨ś and ¨Strewth sheila!¨´s perhaps? ;-)
