No MIDI in?
« on: November 14, 2006, 09:43:19 PM »
I just got a MIDI interface for amiga, but it seems MIDI IN does not work. I haven't tried the outs or through port yet, but I'm sure no software recieves MIDI IN. Is there something I'm doing wrong software wise or is it broken? I looked inside it and it looks pretty simple, so if anyone has any tips on how to fix it, I'd appreciate it.

EDIT: I noticed, that when I turn the interface on, keyboard and mouse input hangs until I turn it off again.

Are you sure you are setting it up correctly? Did it come with instructions?  Was it designed for the Amiga?

Is it a Parallel or serial device?

If it's affecting the mouse and keyboard input, i'd treat that with some concern.  It may damage the Amiga possibly.
