Probably not a good idea in this case, what with it being fizzy and all. Hyperactivity and CO2 induced "bends" sounds particularly bad...

You should be able to find it at your local ASDA, if you have one.

A few cans of that and you'll be a Guru Meditator in no time ;-)

I ask as I am planning to get myself a can now that I am about to embark on a 200 mile round trip. Hopefully I won't get any further points on my license this time.

Anybody else get the impression he's on the train back?

I just got back. I couldn't manage a whole can as I was already feeling a bit hyper after half a can. I had to spill some of it down the drain.

It still had its effect though. If I am still typing past 3am don't be surprised

You could have poured it into an empty drinks bottle or something and saved the rest for tomorrow morning ;-)

I actually shat out of tanning it. It's still nestling in the fridge. I'm alert as I need to be for now.
I'll save it for a time when I need a wake up boost. ;-)

Did you pluck up the courage to down it yet? :-D

Not yet but I might neck it in the morning as I've had a somewhat extravagant weekend and don't imagine I'll be too happy about getting up for work tomorrow.

Or if you want to save it, just eat half a bag of sugar and a slack handful of amphetamine

I was afraid that the minute amounts of saliva that undoubtedly found their way into the can whilst sipping may kind of mutate, march forth and multiply creating a toxic  biohazard by the time the sun decides to pop up again and scare the living bejeezus out of the neighbourhod vampires.

Erm... I think the effects of caffiene are showing.. I had better stop before I come back tomorrow and don't recognise a word I have written  :headwall:

It would have been fine in the fridge. Even with all that sugar (which might not work in their favour depending on the osmotic gradient across their cell walls), bacteria would have struggled at first, too much acidity and too cold.

Hmmm..  now you tell me

I did consider drinking it all up for a second, but I imagine I would be breaking the 'most posts in one night' record if I had.

I am buzzing a little. does it show?

Why do I suspect that's not entirely true? :-D

Did you not see what happened to my post count the day I had it? I think it went from 9050 to 9200 or something

The thing is that I don't normally consume such large amounts of caffeine recreationally. I only evr drink that stuff when driving as it stops me from feeling sleepy.

Recovering from it takes time and copious amounts of water consumption and multiple trips to the loo.

The post count increase is just a nice side effect

I don't think anybody does. The amount we are talking about is equivalent to several cups of strong coffee in one drink. I generally have at most one or two cups of coffee a day normally. Having that stuff after a month of reduced caffiene intake was... amusing :-D
