I'm sure I could think of more! ;-)

The Friedens and Laire, maybe Gerald Garda (sp?) too.

I saw many interesting names listed, but I think we should concentrate on people who are still working with Amiga-like systems. For example, there has been made many interviews of RJ Mical etc.

OTOH: last Olaf Barthel interview was legendary, and maybe another one could be made after OS4 release  :-o

Maybe the Aminet warriors should be interviewed too. Aminet is so every-day that one might think it comes 'free'.

What about contacting old demo coders who are no longer active to see if they would come out of retirement to code demos for A1/Pegasos?  Melon Dezign, Lemon, RSI, Razor 1911. DCS, LSD to name but a few off the top of my head.

Is Jack Tramiel still alive? ;-)

I'm with the guys who would like to see an interview with individuals from prior Amiga eras. Pleasance would be a good start.

">What about contacting old demo coders who are no longer active to see if they would come out of retirement to code demos for A1/Pegasos? Melon Dezign, Lemon, RSI, Razor 1911. DCS, LSD to name but a few off the top of my head."

We(=DCS) are already working on a Pegasos demo.
See the announcement about demoscene project at www.morphos-news.de.

In the end of this week a query will be mailed on the mailinglist asking who wants to have a loaned Pegasos. Next week decisions will be made.

Now that's a great idea.  I'd love to see if any of these guys ended up working in the industry, or even if they still dabble.

Nice one.  I'll look forward to it.  All software rendering I hope?  Nothing spoils a demo more than hardware acceleration.  The best thing about watching demos for me years back was being astounded at what they did with limited resources.  PC demos are generally rubbish as they are just pretty opengl rendered efforts.  I want to appreciate the coders skill as much as his artistic flair.

I went to the Digital Party near Rotherham in 93 (Maybe 94) and one of the coders from LSD (Data?) was coding games for the soon to be released (At the time) PSX.

Isn't Team 17 made up from ex Demo coders too?
