AmiWest - time to register and make travel plans
« on: September 26, 2006, 03:44:01 AM »
I am trying to decide between flying and driving from Southern California.  It would be cheaper to fly unless I can get a few passengers to go with me.  I have a big comfortable car with lots of room if anyone is interested, I'll pick you up along the way.

Anyone going that needs or wants a ride to share gasoline costs?  One advantage to taking the car, is that several Amigas can be brought along for the ride too.

Please contact me through Pmail ASAP.

Time is getting short and I think this show might have some interesting discussions and things to see.

How are you helping the Amiga community? :)

bumped

I have one passenger so far and would like two more.  Come on Magnetic (recently moved to CA) and Adolescent, I know both of you live in SoCal.  Bring one of your Peg's with you and show us what they are like.

I'd love to go. Think you can swing by Atlanta on the 19th and pick me up? :-P

Wish it wasn't so far away or I'd be there.

I have thought about shocking the local group back to life if Amiga Inc starts making real waves again. I'm sure NCSCAUG would love to hook up for a show on this end of the US.

I'd also love to go but I am too afraid that I would get stuck in the American customs or that they might find out that I am a terrorist.  :-P

I was merely thinking of my secret G5-project that will hit AmiWest like a bomb. But further details will be puiblished by my fellow PR-brother John_C. :-P

I think we can get a waiver through customs for that. Just make sure to leave out the actual word "bomb".

No bombs please, just passengers and maybe some old computer equipment with the Amiga name on it.

Two more passengers to make the total four would be perfect, eventhough the car does seat up to 8.  Leather seats and independent A/C front and back, good conversation about our favorite computer platform, what more could you ask for.

I would also like to know which other Amiga.org regulars are going to be there, so I can meet and put a face with the names I see here everyday.
