AC Line networking on Amiga?
« on: August 24, 2006, 06:28:45 PM »
Anyone remember these? They connect to a PC's parallel port. Well, I forgot I had the whole setup lurking in my basement and dug it out. I was wondering what the chances are of getting this to work on my A500 were...

Intelogis Passport

I did some net searching and found that there is a linux driver out there to download.

Linux Driver

Any chances that the driver could be modified to work on an Amiga? Would I not need a TCP/IP stack? Any thoughts?

Sounds similar to the AmiLink units.

 Or a Parnet for PC.

Does the linux driver use IP addressing ?

Do you want to link two machines or more?

Is there a manufacturer's website or support files you can download and examine?Install disks?Spec sheets?Brand and model number is?
