I agree, but there are those who have been very numerous and vocal on wanting to run their 68K apps.  They-we have pulled together a fair amount of money (just got a new donation a few hours ago for $10 [minus PayPal fees so $9.xx]) for it, so it's of major interest within the AROS community.
