Then there's the problem I guess...

Is a SCSI device attached to SCSI-IV kit? Perhaps you need to attach a device to it, in order for the 1230scsi.device to show up in the list, in HDToolBox?
Remember that the SCSI-IV kit is actively terminated on one end already, so you just need to use active termination on the other end, after your last SCSI device in the chain.

this ''damn'' scsi.device 37.64 version is rom's 3.0
1230scsi.device is 7.19 in my scsikit, after the update i use goes to v8.1. even when i boot with no startup-sequence the 1230scsi.device appears ok and without the need to connect anything on the controler, i don't have any kind of termination too. you can see some of the running devices and versions if you run the sysinfo.what workbench version you run?

-edit-
i see it, 3.5 bb2
A3040/25 AmigaOS 3.9
A1260BPPC AmigaOS 3.9/4.0
Sam440ep AmigaOS 4.1.2
PegasosII/G3 AmigaOS 4.1.2/MorphOS 2.7/Debian 5.0.7/SUSE 11.1
MacMini/G4 1.5 MorphOS 2.7/OSX 10.5.8
Long Live Amiga

If i am going to have bugs on my system,
at least let me keep the latest versions.

Another thing to try is to use different memory on the blizzard and the scsi kit.

Last but not least, do not forget to set the memory speed jumper to 70ns (located on B1230-IV card) when SCSI-KIT + SIMM is attached/used with B1230-IV. This is an absolute must, as per Phase 5 manual.

Wooohoo :)
i got mail from amigakit

there is softscsi tool, i can see it if its scsi rom patched (8.1)

passive terminator, just as ithought it worked fine, first cd burned, readed, wirhout any problem :)

but why it needs to be patched to v8.1?

Is there any way to burn it into 27c256 eprom and replace it on scsi board?

1230scsi fix

there is a 1230scsi.device module for the blizkick if you use it.

You have to set the scsi device in the Tooltypes of HDToolbox if I recall correctly. Then it will use that device driver.
