@c64 doc

The only thing Amiga that has the A1 is the operating system. The board is crappy as hell and dont't give nothing revolutionary as the Amiga gave back in the day.
Just my two cents...
Amiga 1200 desktop. Apollo 030/50 Mhz 8mb ram + ClassicWB + Wb 3.1
Amiga 500 + ACA500Plus + 16gb CF | ECS Power!!!
C64 DTV + Keyboard mod. Waiting for a 1541 disk ve...
Mac Mini G4 1.42Ghz 1gb OSX(tiger)/Morphos 3.7 Registered
C64mini + usb drive with loads of games...

OK i didn't mean it for real...I didn't mean that if you give me a Yugo Zastava with Amiga stickers I will buy it :P (I was just saying my feelings...)

1. How I can run AmigaOS 3.9 on my Pegasos system? (I hope not through emulation, otherwise I don't like it)

It is widely known that Amiga OS 3.9 is written for 68k processors.  Your Pegasos has a PPC processor.  This does mean that emulation has to be involved somewhere.

2. Do you know when new AmigaOne motherboards will come out again?

They won't.  Mai appears to be dead, Eyetech is MIA and the AmigaOne project was a dead loss with Alan saying it would have been cheaper just to pay every A1 owner $500 not to buy a motherboard.

Quote

3. What is your opinion? Sell Pegasos and buy an AmigaOne motherboard or just keep the Pegasos one and don't buy anything.

My recommendation?  Yes, sell the Pegasos.  Please.  And get an A1.  With your technical naivete, your devotion to a meaningless name, and your completeley unrealistic optimism flying in the face of all logic, you'd fit right in.

All I can say is that since update #4 for AOS 4.0 I got the same feeling back as I had when I bought my A4000 -93 and that is a great feeling.

I love it and it doesn't get any more amiga than this, period...

Yes... this *is* AOS and behaves like it. The real thing that makes you feel right at home. It's just *so* much better than the previous versions...

Have a look at aw.net and ask around...

Hi,

Welcome back - lots of people are waiting for AmigaOne (or OS4 capable) boards.  Check out http://www.troikang.com/ for the Amy 05, which is (hopefully) coming out soon.

I wouldn't be the farm on that.

Back away from the EU-SSR!

I hope that I didn;t say anything to start a war between you guys as you say. I simply write what I feel. I am an Amiga user since 1990 so Pegasos computers are clones of Amiga for me (that doesn't mean that they are not good at all).

I know that the motherboard of Pegasos is much better than the AmigaOne motherboard, that's why I am confused.

But to make this move, from Pegasos to AmigaOne is very risky I think at the moment. Because as I can see no AmigaOne motherboards will be at the stores soon (or a new one motherboard?) and Pegasos as I can see is still selling.

I don't know, I think I must sit down and think more logically this time.

@Phantom

If you want to buy my MicroA1-C I will sell it as soon as the PowerVixxen comes out because the AGA chipset will make it more compatible than any in the AmigaOne series.

Yes I know that the MicroA1-C has an 800 MHz processor and the PowerVixxen will have half of that but it makes more sense for me to have a 12 year old computer working hard and upgrade my PC to something newer.  I don't like this situation any better than anyone else.   :-(
