A4000D front bezel...painted over?

Looks to me like it was painted over. Kind of glossy. :-?

Nothing better then to deceive a coustomer by repainting it :-o  Nope, they were never shinny like that nor were they true white they always had a slight cream colour. The same guy that likes to rip off his costomers selling a Cyberstorm PPC for $1500 and many other so called deals :roll:

Mine's pretty white and was at one time kind of shiney (my A4000 faceplate that is :-D).  But I agree, this one, judging from the sellers history, is probably just an old faded one repainted.

This guy amazes me.  First he keeps his feedback private for some odd reason.  Now he has an auction with a private bidder list.  What doesn't he want people to know who is bidding on his stuff.

He needs to learn how to become a real ebay seller.

Next time drive down to Calgary where he is I will pay him a visit and give him a lesson on eBay selling :lol: I would never buy anything from him.

nah I wouldn't pay that money! Question weather it's been painted or not might have been a better idea to ask the seller rather than speculate on here! Seems this guys been a seller for near 5 years and has 99.5% positive feedback rating so comments that he's a bad ebayer cause he keeps his feedback private I thinks unfair, he's jus seems rather expensive!  :-o

Have you ever actually dealt with him.  I remember long long ago I did, and I will tell you that he isn't what I will call one of the friendliest of the ebay sellers.  Don't ever just randomly email him questions or opinions because he will not take to them in a professional manner. By questioning the integrity of this products will reward you with a reply filled with expletives galore.

Yes he is expensive, it's so he can top out the bottom line.  He keeps his feedback private because he doesn't want anyone  knowing his next moves.  My bezels aren't even that white. And mine are in perfect condition.  That looks like that Fusion Krylon Plastic spray paint.

He is a nasty seller alright. Just look at this auction of his. Selling a Picasso IV card without the flicker-fixer part and not mentioning that fact anywhere in the description.

hi uhmmm, not to disagree and look like a total idiot but what is wrong with this guy??? the pic of the front bezel doesnt look that high quality so how can anyone tell if it is painted or not?  has anyone asked him if it is painted? he is selling a picassoIV for a ton of money but he might not know what it has on it just that it works and he has the driver disk for it. i really dont see anything wrong right off. if you check his feedback (admittedly what little you can see of it) he has 3 negatives over a year ago and almost 550 total. that really isnt to bad i havent seen many much better than that.

I have delt with him and he is not someone I would by from I have sent him questions in the past wondering if I could pic up what he was selling as I live close to him. And needless to say his replies have been less then professinal and downright rude someitmes with colourful words and such. I would not trust him at all. He is always way overpriced double what it should be.

And it is painted, if you look at the Amiga logo on the front its not sharp as the paint has smoothed the edges out.

kidding im just kidding a have quite a few canadian friends and we soot zingers back and forth all the time. i bought an 1200 from a guy in canada no probs
looking at his present auctions and feedback i dont see too much cause for alarm
maybe ill ask him if it is painted, he will probably make questions private though.
