I´m just wondering what the hell is the option WShell Compatible, wich is present in the OS3.9 installation menu.

There is an old sheel replacement/extension,, not sure which. It is used on older WBs, I have it on my A2000 with WB 1.3.

Wshell was made by William Hawes. He's perhaps better known as author of ARexx software.
