apps that use guigfx crashing

I've noticed over the past few days that any apps using guigfx crash on my system.  I'm using OS3.9 and CGX3.

Can anybody tell me why? Has anyone had this happen to them?

the version of guigfx.library I'm using is 16.

I don't know, maybe you've installed some patch it doesn't like.

Anyway, v16 is pretty damn old. I have v19. Maybe upgrading will solve your problems.

hmm, all I could find on aminet was v16.  I'll have another search now though.

yes, v16 is the latest on aminet, v 19 is on their homepage, I used google and found it
