here is a decent case:

ATECHFLASH STK-6551G GREY-CLEAR MID CASE

This case is nice, but the most beautifully crafted case is still the Mac G3. I was :pissed: when I got my G4 cos it wasn't quite as stunning.

I just want a big ol' tower of power!  It needs to have lots o' room for lots of gadgets.  It doesn't really matter what it looks like, 'cause I've got an airbrush with an attitude!  :flame:  (This is my red hot airbrush, not a flame thrower!)  ;-)

That case looks kinda cool but id rather have 4 5.25" bays, the 3 in my power tower just isnt enough :)

The case does have 4 bays, there is an odd one at the top though!

Hmmm, what's it missing? I know! a couple of cool handles on top and a half-eaten fruit etched on the side

It has a single handle on top :-D

I agree, we should have the best of both worlds (PC/MAC).
If you want a custom, or some of the existing brands case buy the mobo and put it in.

But there should also be an official one, original, bewtifull, with the Amiga name stamped in it like the Classics, kinda like a reference. Even marketwise, that would only be an intelligent thing.

Wich old Amiga user doesn't remember that Amiga word incised(?) in the plastic case :-o ?!

Cool yet quite insane case. Looks like its stolen a few controls from a 60s fighter plane and the
head of, some now dead tramp, has been shrink wrapped to the front. :-D

@ L8_X:

I think you're onto something there.  If it senses the use of Wind$lows anywhere in the room, flames shoot out of it's eyes and melt the offending machine to a pool of slag, while the mouth chants "Bill Gates is the anti-christ!"  :flame:

I WANT AN ORIGINAL AMIGA CASE WITH THE AMIGA NAME ENBLAZONED ON IT

Amiga, Inc. doesn't seem to have thought this one through, apparently not wanting to impose additional restrictions on their partners, or not realizing the benefits. In either case, there are no "Amiga" (as in hardware by Amiga, Inc.) computers, only AmigaOS computers produced by third-party partners (so far just Eyetech). So the opportunity was missed to maximize the brand. Funny after all Amiga, Inc.'s ranting about people stealing their IP or whatever, they don't look at the other side of the situation and optimize the ownership themselves.

Anyway, here's my idea -- a way to get an Amiga "badge" on every AOS computer, and at the same time not inhibit partners and users from doing their own thing case-wise: The anti-piracy ROM would be mounted inside a case-front bezel, which would have the Amiga identity emblazed on it. This would have to be some kind of universal-mount thing, the point being that it'd identify the box as running authentic AmigaOS. The piracy-dongle fans would be happy, and so would the people wanting a box that says, officially, "Amiga".

They could find a nice way to do it like they do with cows :-D  emlaze the Amiga name (like in the Classic) in the cases.  And it had to be like the Classic, so that every old user get's their attention to it.

Does anybody remember those "ICE CUBE" style cases that seem to be in the news a while ago?

You mean this one?

Anyone know where to get those? (I realise that's not much to go on).

If that is the one you are talking about, it's not for sale yet.

Well, only thing left to do, is to buy an one Amiga 3000 desktop, covert it to ATX and change the Amiga 3000 plate to AmigaOne and I'll be all set to go. :-D

That must be the best AmigaOne case, so far.  ;-)
