:puke: I can't stand Country, it's just so repulsive I can't stand to be in the same room it's being played. I don't understand why either, because I can usually listen to ANY kind of music as long as I give it a chance and even force it down for awhile if I need to, but nope, Country can't even be digested by my system.

i hope you have more of a selection than i do then. around here when you listen to the radio you have three choices country stations, public broadcasting, and christian programming stations. everything else is so far away you can't pick it up or you have multiple stations battling for supremacy.
The only stupid question is a question not asked.

Win•dows: n. A thirty-two bit extension and graphical shell to a sixteen-bit patch to an eight-bit operating system originally coded for a four-bit microprocessor which was written by a two-bit company that can\'t stand one bit of competition.

Back in the day stuff like New Order, Primal Scream, Adamski, 808 State, Sunscreem, The KLF, The Shamen (before the Ebeneezer Goode episode) and, bizarrely Fortran 5 were very much my thing.

Fortran 5 were probably the oddest band going, actually managing to get Derek Nimmo to sing "Layla" amongst other strange things.  However they did manage to produce some absolute gems like "Persian Blues" (Philamonic remix).

I grew up partially in the eighties, no wonder why I turned out to be gay.
