Well,i bought a A600 from this guy,it was in "good shape" supposedly. Well it finally arrived after 13 days!!!! thats 13 days after he GOT the money order.i powered it up and it ran ok for about an hour or so,then i rebooted it and the HD died,sits there making a knocking noise and won't spin up.... Hmm go figure.its possible shipping caused it,but i doubt it,since the packing was adequate and the box came completely intact. I think the drive was on its way out. I've emailed him to see if he's going to make good on it,but i suspect he's going to try and stiff me on it.
He also gouges for shipping BAD..ridiculous handling charges etc.
the guy doesn't even realise that USPS puts the price he paid for shipping on the label they stick on.. it was less than half of what he charged me.
Oh,and theres no highspeed/low drag packing as the auction states,it had regular old clear packing tape on it,inside the 600 was in bubble wrap and padded with crumpled paper packing. nothing special.
good one to avoid Imho.
i'll keep you posted on how this plays out.
communication is pitiful,hard to get a answer on any items he has listed.
