Banshee HD Install
« on: October 02, 2005, 12:40:45 PM »
Hi all :)

Apon getting the Amiga 1200 out of the loft and having a go on it, I've realised I've missed out on some damn fine games!!

I was just wondering if anyone has had any problems with installing Banshee onto their HD as my disk 1 has got a read block error on it  :-o  :madashell: and so it wont install that way.
But each time I try to install it just by dragging and dropping the files into a 'Banshee' directory, I make sure I assign where the disks are too but it still asks me for the disks anyways :(

I dont remember how I got this magical game working!!  Can anyone please help me?!

IIRC, even with the HD install it's almost impossible to get it to work.  (You need to boot without startup-sequence to have enough chipram)

Get WHDLoad and the installer and give that a try.  If you find your disks still don't work, you can download them at Back to the Roots.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(

Hmm, I never did manage to install my (original) copy to HD, and always had to play it with the floppies. maybe the "Back to the roots" version will work ??

I think I just copied the all the disks onto the hard drive and then assigned the disks to where it was on the drive... No idea why its not working now tho... I'll try and track the game down again or download it and see what happens...
