"spenceranne:

You are lying. I now have proof that you did cash the money order that I sent you. If you do not
ship me the ZIP memory chips I will file legal charges against you. I will also file a complaint
with the IFCC. They will turn in their findings to eBay and you will be kicked off for committing
fraud.

spenceranne:

MoneyGram is mailing me a copy of the front and back of the money order which will show the signature
of the person that cashed it. If it is your signature, I will file charges against you. I am now
in the process of filing a fraud complaint with the IFCC. Also, I have relatives that live near you
, so the next time I fly up to see them, we will be paying you a visit. I hope your insurance is
paid up."

That´s interesting... I guess he had the proof before MoneyGram had mailed the copy?  :lol:

What´s IFCC anyway?

Delivery confirmation helps prove that the envelope with money got to the person. But, I don't think it's available on international mail, which my be why he's selling on ebay Canada now... so people can't confirm delivery and he can claim non-delivery. Ugh. Let's not speak of this again. Let's not even post anymore about him anymore, at all. Everytime someone posts about his auctions, we go there and his hit count is always really high because of it. None of us are buying anything from him, so why do we care what he's selling?

Sure, it´s a little old, but still funny as h*ll... :-)

@weirdami

to let know to others.

What i can' beleive, is . . . ok the world is big (even if x56h34 has confirmed that it's not so big after all) but the Amiga users MUST know of him. How the hell is possible, that this coward (yes coward because a scammer is anything but a coward) can still in "business"?!?

If this thread could help even a single guy, to avoid to trade with him, well . . . i'll be happy :-)

riccofl,

I know this isn't the answer you seek, but you'd really have to know the guy we call DoomMaster to understand.  His hallmark was screaming about those type items, and that certain Amigas were crap while big-box metal Amigas were the only "real" Amigas ever made.

It was an entertaining circus to say the least -- until it got exceptionally annoying and he started ripping people off right and left.

Oh my god...I never knew how stupid I was.

Thanks to Doomy for helping me see the error of my ways; I never realised that packaging of items was the important part, and that powering on the item was of no consequence.

What really concerns me is that there might be some newbie out there who atually BELIEVES his drivel! What absolute cr*p! ArrgH! I hope to god or whatever deity you believe/disbelieve in that common sense prevails when making decisions about your Amigas....

Wayne,

If he was trying to be serious about the test in that article, then yes, I agree with you guys, he has a problem. Personally I do not care what color or material computerparts are being delivered in and I can not understand why write a half page about it. What triggered my interest - is he trying to be different, special (Andy Kaufman) or what is going on. But after reading all the articles and comments I guess the guy has just lost his mind.

I am going to end it here.

@riccofl

It isn´t the real Doommaster who wrote that "test", it´s someone else, using Doomys type of writing, saying that this or that is crap and that this or that i mil-spec and so on..
