Nope!  But I've managed to acheieve the following:

Fitted an air filter to my Alfa 156, but destroyed the air mass meter in the process.  Doh!

Fitted a new chain to my MTB, which resulted in the fitting of a new rear cassette and chain rings - not as easy as it sounds.

Replaced brake pads and brake fluid on my MTB

And finally, created a monster out of an A1200, Voodoo card, a large box and some wires.

I was quite good with things that didn't involve the engine. I stripped an old Ford Sapphire door to get at the lock and window winder mechanism...would have been better if I didn't have to use a tap and die set to extract all the stripped bolts. And I managed to fit a 'new' mechanism from a scrapped vehicle. My missus (at the time) could then enter the vehicle by normal means.
But don't let me near the engine or the electrics...

@Linchpin

If you gave some more details, someone may be able to help.:-)

Haynes do a car electronics manual showing the diagnostic plug-in points for a very large number of cars.  It also list the manufacturer codes and what they mean.  Check out your local Halfords where you can probably browse a copy without buying.  They also sell lots of diagnostic kits (some specific, others universal) and they are not as expensive as you might think!

I dunno why they call themselves Campanologists, I can think of a much short name for them... :sealed:

@doobrey

You don't need to ask, IIRC you have a franchise on revolution day, starting with a bunch of interior designers. Just put them on your list :lol:
