I have a Picasso IV card which is in use with my A4000D system (e.g. not really for sale), however if you are willing to pay 300EUR + shipping, it's yours. It's the latest revision PIV with the latest revision FF/SD chip on it (V7), still uncut (e.g. never tried with an A2000).

I know that the price is a nightmare, but that's how much it would take for me to let go of a hardware that I currently use (e.g. it's not sittign on a shelf unused, taking space).

Sounds just like my PIV, and mine has the original retail box too.

300 EUR? People should tell Villagetronic, they are still in business and could start another production run.

I am very much interested in a Picasso IV but not at that budget, for that kind of cash it would be cheaper to buy a mediator + Voodoo. (and scrap (=sell) my Concierto/Pablo/Paloma)

Probably found one for 200 EUR, hope deal goes through!!

Tell VillageTronic? For what? A production run of 100 PIV cards, priced at 300EUR? :-) Even if all 100 were successfully sold at that price, I doubt that it is worth their time to invest in such a small-time, low profit business venture...and I doubt that there's even a number of people close to 100 that are interested in PIV anyway. :-)

Hey Yo!

Oh i wish i had a better Amiga. My current Amiga is crap compared to the likes of x56h34 and X-ray. It's like comparing a mini-bus to a double decker bus!!!

Tahoe:
Wouldn't it be better to buy a Mediator and use it together with a Voodoo-card and a TV-Card ? Running the RF-signal to the TV-card and get a window in Workbench with the game and still have acess to the desktop in Workbench?

Erm, have I missed something recently ? It should be quite possible to get a PIV for a tad over 100 EUR. For 200 EUR people should fall over each other to sell it to you. Heck you are in the netherlandads, so "importing" from germany should be piece of cake. I can understand if prices are that high in the US, or more remote parts of europe like spain or so, but really right here around the corner you souldn`t have to search long to get one for 150 EUR.
Maybe post a request in the amige-news.de forum.
Not really interesting, but it`s there.

@ Lemmink

Unfortunately, I don't think the nature of the beast lends itself to be sold for 200 Euros with any enthusiasm. That is what I found when I 'put out the word' that I wanted one. I doubt that Tahoe will get it for less than 200 Euros in fact I would be surprised if he gets it for less than 250 if the board hasn't been split and the manual/disk is included. Would you sell yours to Tahoe for 200 Euros? Have you contacted him?

That's the key to buying any Amiga hardware.  Don't tell a soul you desperately want something and certainly not on this forum; 'cause then suddenly everyone remembers how great something like a PIV card is and drives the prices up to $400+ on US eBay like last December....argghh!!!!!

@CU_Amiga

I'd love to get a Blizzard 1260 card; you're lucky to have one.  Pop a 128MB simm in it and you're off to the races with the best 68K performance out there.

@CU_Amiga

There is a 1260 on US eBay right now.  The joker wants something like $400 Buy it Now. And you know, he'll probably get it.  Wow, now that's more than I'd pay for a BlizzardPPC w/SCSI!
