I guess a person can take only so much.... :-o

Good luck Red. Hate to see you go.

Just remember the community, which is the people.  Many in this community still consider you a good person if not a friend (or part of a larger family) as well as a fellow Amiga user.

Keep in touch.

Hum,
Isn’t this the second time you’ve left?

Anyway have fun – and good luck with the new website.

Shame to see you go Red, hopefully you'll come back someday, on a lighter note your amiga soul still lives on, I have your CS-PPC which is now working well, you'll be glad to hear, just dirty pins on the 060 or something causing a bad connection there. Maybe when the MOS and AOS4 situations are resolved and we're back on track again more people will come to the community, I mean, I found it after all...

@Wayne,
Seriously wayne, if you left I think it would be the same.
You have not just made a website here, it's a community.
Yeah we all {bleep} and moan and are very opinionated, but it's family.

Red, you too. Stay invloved. C64 is in my eyes what opened up the excitement for the computer revolution. Amiga was born after that. I own both and hope to have a c128 really soon.

Yep it's old hardware, but look at what it has achieved. A really Passionate community that will argue down to the bone for what it believes in.

I dunno, as much as A Org annoys and frustrates me, I keep coming back. I'm looking forward to more news articles once the OS gets launced. That aught to keep people like Wayne busy LOL, may have to ask for help again hehhehehhehhe!
No offence Wayne ;)
It's not the question, that is the problem, it is the problem, that is the question.

LOL!!
And when you leave for a second time, I hope you will be missed too. Even if it is at least for your sense of humor!! :->

......such a bad ass :)

Good luck with whatever you decide red!

I have moments of depression where I want to sell the lot and give up..then I swing the opposite way and almost buy a uA1 to keep my PegaMOS company ;-)

A lot of this is directly proportional to the ups and downs in the forums.....of which I am indeed an addict!

Hi Jim,

I just noticed this thread - hope you're still reading:

I know we don't always see eye to eye but, over the years I've been coming here, your posts have been up there with the best of them.
Especially where MOS is concerned. I hope this isn't permanent.
Believe it or not, I'll miss you.

I know you don't anyomore but I'll have one for you. :pint:
Thank you Wayne for giving me what had been my favorite website for the last 10 years
I can only echo that.

All the best mate,

I hate goodbyes. Take care Red, and my the Force be with you.

Now, the only question is: who's gonna give us our departing gifts when we lose a debate to Tigger?  ;-) (of course, I'm not saying that I ever lost a debate, but, well, you know what I mean...  :-P)

Hate to see you go red, you’re a great guy. You are joking about the C-64 scene being better though right? Jerry's new C-64 in a joystick is a cool idea and I used to be a C-64 fan. But once I saw the Amiga in the mid-80's my 64 was quickly sold and I never looked back besides buying a SX-64 in 1991 that I have only used twice. It is nice to see that the C-64 has new hardware that is selling well to retro gamers, I could never use the C-64 in my current plans though unless they figure out how to bolt a Video Toaster onto it or a version of Pagestream C-64 magically appears. DiscreetFX is releasing a new Digital Lifestyle magazine next month, while it is true that it only has 10% Amiga/MorphOS coverage it is designed using the Amiga version of Pagestream 5.0 Pro. There is no way I could lay out my magazine on a C-64, it would never be released. I could never do this on a C-64 or any of my other visual effects titles for that matter. The Amiga scene love it or hate is interesting and gave many developers their start. Not all the modern software tools are there but many of them are. If you ignore the flame wars the Amiga scene is pretty cool.

Dede-dow-dow-dow. Another one bites the dust!  :-P

Sorry to see you leave redrumloa, but you could just do what I do and lurk around reading posts. I mean I'm not really an Amigan whatsoever anymore, but I still check Amiga.org to find out what's happening, posting in any topics that interest me.

Good luck, Red!
Hopefully the Amiga scene will soon die, so that it can be resurrected in the same way the C64 has been.
