Mmmm, i have never seen so far a simm that refuse to work on an accelerator (i own Mtec 1230, Apollo 630, Blizzard 1230-IV, Apollo 1240, Blizzard PPC) and i actually have a 128 Mo FPM Hewlett Packard simm on my PPC with no problem at all.
My guess is any FPM or EDO matching the correct access time will work on the appropriate board. I don't know how you managed to fry a mobo and an accelerator with a simm, unless fitting it unproperly.
10 Classic Amiga Computers so far: I have too many computers!!

By using Simms that appeared only to work on a HP server model 9000. The add stated that the modules probably wouldn´t work on normal pc´s but I thought just like you "I have never seen so far a simm that refuse to work on an accelerator" but that thought appeared to be not really correct   I can laugh at it now but I can assure you that my face wasn´t very funny at all when I noticed what just happened in front of my eyes   I then tried another similar module in my MicroBotics 1230XA and it also refused to work, but lucky for me the card didn´t get fried  :-)

If people are willing to pay the asking price then obviously it is not too expensive.
